Little pumpkins

I received my Halloween See Saw from Diane a loooooong time ago (early August) but I have only finished adding my border now. Sorry Diane I am so late. Diane had added 2 gorgeous flying geese borders on her round, a green one at the top and an orange one at the bottom.
I bought a lovely little Sizzix die while in Birmingham at the Festival of Quilts with 2 pumpkins. I knew I add to use it for my Halloween wall hanging. I added a plain Kona black border at the bottom of my wall hanging and cut some cute pumpkins from an all-over pumpkin fabric that I had in my stash. I added the pumpkins in a row on my plain black border and stitched over them with black thread.
My witch is flying over to Diane, I wonder what she will come up with this time!

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
