Quilt-alongs





Do I need to add any new project to my already to long list? Have I got enough willpower to resist a cute quilt-along? I think when it comes to fabric and quilt, I have no willpower at all. Anyway, I am really really tempted by Lee's Fair Isle Sew Along starting on Thursday. It is such a gorgeous quilt, look at this picture on Lee's blog. If you love Scandinavian Christmas, this is for you!
Isn't this quilt beautiful? Cutting starts on Thursday are you joining? I think I need a little fabric shopping tonight as it is stunning with solid fabrics.

    It is very hard to resist anything lovely! Good luck and have fun going for those. I do love the Fair Isle but after adding some extra bits to my to do list today got to behave.

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. I love fabric and my stash is probably too big for my needs, but can a girl really have TOO MUCH fabric? I don't think so! Michele at the Quilting Gallery is organising a blog hop for the 4th anniversary of her site . Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
