Another week of making blocks!
I have some many WIPs and QALs at the moment as well as a few bees that I seem to endlessly making blocks, but you know what? I love it. I love the variety and I love seeing a few more blocks added to my piles regularly. And this week, on top of a Foret Noire, that has caused me quite some trouble....
was no exception with a range of blocks being made.
I finally finished my January (!) block for Fat Stash Bee, a lovely pineapple blocks which isn't paper-pieced. It wasn't difficult at all but somehow I dreaded it so I took forever to get started...
and also made the March block, a nice fast an easy one!
Also one little geese block, I still have quite a few to finish and my goal for March is to have all of those done and out of my house!
More of these tiny blocks for the 365 Quilt Challenge. I am not caught up yet but at least I am not falling further behind too much! 8 more to the pile this week
I also finally got back to the Town and Country Quilt Block a Day. For this one I am very very far behind but I am happy to have finished 6 more blocks! Plenty to catch up with still though...
My daughter is preparing me the #hkqal blocks for me to sew and she is a real slave driver so I pieced 5 blocks this week with more ready for me! Love how this is starting to take shape, even though the girls haven't guessed yet!
And finally Stepping Stones which is block #4 of the Modern HST Sampler run by Alyce.
A nice start with 23 blocks so far in March for the 350-blocks project.

I enjoyed seeing your blocks! Great progress! The cake looks yummy too!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful blocks. I especially love the house blocks.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly get a lot of blocks made regularly. Nicely done.

ReplyDeleteWow, Celine, you really rock on all the blocks you have made. That cake looks delish. I am also doing the 365 challenge, three days behind. Have not done the center yet either, so I guess that is really 5 days. I want the center to pull things together, not sure what fabrics to use yet. I have not printed the pages as I go (saves time), but will have to go back and print 2/28-2/29.
ReplyDeleteLove all you work.
