So half of the year is gone already and there is another half left now! It's gone fast but I feel like I have done a few things and also learnt a few new things, probably my proudest make for the first half of the year is my GInger Jeans. TIme to make a new list for next term now.... and of course with the summer, it will be hard to have lots of sewing time! 1. Blanche Bag for A - not started 2.    Quilt for E - HK QAL - all cut, it would be good to have it done for her birthday in April 3.  Belle Bag for C - not started 4. The second quarter of the year is already over and it has been busy as welll as rich in memorable times. Busy family time, busy work time and a little sewing squeezed in of course, just to keep my sanity! I had a long list with 23 items this term and of course I won't cross them all off but at least there are a few that I will not dragging over the summer! 8 finishes, mainly in the dressmaking category. Admittedly, it is so much quicker to get a finish in dressmaking than in quilting. And I think I've been slightly bitten by the bug... 1. A nearly finished that has been transformed into a finish today! I had made my neoprene coat a little while ago and all it was waiting for was some "closure" which has been added today. I was advised against buttonhole in case the neoprene would tear so I used poppers that are hidden behind buttons. I really like how this buttons liven up the coat.
