Friday Night Sew-In results - late....

I was working away on my Mod Mosaic block during the Friday Night Sew-in and making good progress until Big Boy started crying in his bed... so I stopped and went to check on him just to discover that he had been sick in his bed. Nice! Anyway that was the end of my FNSI unfortunately.

I sew a little bit more on my blocks on Saturday with a big plan to finish them on Sunday but I never got up on Sunday. The nasty tummy bug which had affected Baby Girl and Big Boy for the best part of last week caught up with me on Saturday night and I have been sick and feeling miserable and weak since then. I can't stay up the whole day and most things are a real effort. Not fun really. I think I am on the mend but it is taking far longer that I would have thought it would.
Off to bed now for a much needed early night.

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
