Stars are complete

Finally yesterday I finished sewing the last stars I needed to do for the [3x6] Mini Bee Sampler quilt. I had make mistakes in the direction of the fabric so I had to unpick and redo, that's why it took me almost all week to finish it all. But they are now done so I can send them off next week.

I also got started on my Circle of Geese in pink for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge last night, I've only made one quarter so far but I don't have that many pink in my scrap basket so I'll have to raid my stash to be able to get 12 different pinks.

I can't believe March is nearly over already and the Easter school break will start very soon.

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
