Work in progress

Well, another week of sewing in different directions, progressing various projects!

I have finally made a start on my panel for the Holiday Lane Christmas Pillow blog hop starting soon over at Sew we Quilt but... I will only show you a very small peak and keep the surprise for my stop on the hop in 2 weeks time.
Sorry just teasing with this one!


I also worked on Deb's block for the Modern Minx Beginner Bee, and this one is actually finished and ready to fly to the other end of the world!

I have pulled out some fabric for my test block for the [4x5] Modern Quilt Bee. I am really hoping to sew this block today.

My block for the Modern She Made Swap is pieced, now I need to quilt it and finish it off to send to my partner soon!

And finally my Super Mario quilt-along blocks are slowly growing. I have half a Fire Flower and half a piranha now.

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. I love fabric and my stash is probably too big for my needs, but can a girl really have TOO MUCH fabric? I don't think so! Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
