Finish Along Q1

Quarter 1 is over already, time to check how many finishes I can cross of my list from January and how many I will yet again, push to next quarter(s).

1. Work bag for myself - started years ago but stopped because of a zip fear! - this one is on my list since the beginning of the year so I am really hoping I'll eventually pick it up and finish it...  - no progress

2. Bag for Maud -started 5 years ago... no progress

3. Star Plus quilt - top ready for quilting no progress

4. Cat bag as a Christmas present similar to the one I made 2 years ago no progress

5. Triangle Quilt take #2  - all the triangles are cut no progress

6. My Auntie's purple quilt - UFO from 5 years ago - no progress

7. Spools and bobbins - to be finished promptly so I can gift it to my Grand-Mum for her 90th birthday no progress

8. Finish my Little Forest with quilting and binding - Finished and on our bedroom wall

9. Make myself a skirt with the Skirt Sew Along no progress

10. Mr Snowmen cushion - all the blocks are pieced no progress

11. UK mini swap -  no progress

12. Liberty of London swap - finished on time

13. Frozen dresses for the girls - both finished

14. Valentine's swap - 25 cards done

15. Custom cushions x 2 no progress

16. Downton swap - finished on time

17. Mr Cars new quilt - all blocks done - I have planned the design and started sashing the blocks

18. Miss Baby quilt -no progress

19. Miss Strawberry Shortcake quilt - 2 block so far

20. Mod Mod Along no progress

Only 5 crossed off my list out of 20, that doesn't look very good I guess, Some were very challenging (like the Frozen dresses) and I am glad they are finished, and there were other finishes which were not on this original list like more swaps (Kawaii, Easter open wide pouch for examples), some pillow cases for the kids and a lot of birthday parties to prepare, organise and bake for. A new job to get used to (including returning to full time 5 days a week work rather than part-time 4 days a week) since January as well to add to the equation so I guess it has been quite a busy quarter really. Time to plan for the next one which will, I hope, will bring renewed energy with the arrival of Spring.
