Blocks again?

It seems all I am producing at the moment is blocks! But then with lots of blocks, one day I'll have some quilts (I hope) :-)

I am so happy that I have finally finished my belated bubble for Wyna, those blocks are beautiful but so time consuming!

I also finished my 2 Scandi Bee blocks for Rebecca, love her choice!

So in the last week or so, I have tried to catch up with the 365 Challenge but I am still over 40 blocks behind. It is so hard to keep up with a block a day and the 6' blocks take a lot more time to make than the 3' ones! Anyway, I managed to make 9 blocks since the beginning of the month, 6 big 6' blocks from April and May and 3 tiny 3' blocks from February.

And all of these blocks give me a total of 12 blocks to start my 350-blocks challenge for May, not bad!

  1. That is a lot of blocks! And that top one looks like it had a ton of pieces. I love the Scandi Bee blocks. They will make a striking quilt.

  2. I'm feeling like this is the year of blocks, too. Like you I'm hoping next year will be the year of quilts! Maybe if you count the six inch blocks as 4 three inch ones you'll feel more accomplished. They are beautiful whatever the count!
PS- I feel my skills are really improving this year. I hope you do, too!

  3. I thought your blog header was blocked again! I love that your blocks in this post are all colour themed. I'm enjoying bubble block bee and getting a little faster I think
