Nearly a bag... quilt-along continue

Today has been a nice, calm and quiet day where I have tried to just sit down and sew and it has worked quite well!

I completed the next installment of the barrel bag quilt-along, which was attaching the circular sides with some piping too. It wasn't the easiest task I must say and it isn't perfect but it is done!
 I love how roomy the bag is


I also caught up with the Modern HST Sampler quilt-along with block 10

And earlier in the week I had also made 2 more blocks for my #hkqal, only 4 left now. I would love to finish it this long week-end.


At the same time I also finished a bubble bee block for Pippa

and sent my flowers to Oliva


A nice productive day and another 6 blocks for the 350-blocks challenge taking my total to 77 so far!

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
