To Do Tuesday

It seems that I have had a little more time for sewing this week, despite lots of other priorities too... Time for another list anyway

Let's look at the list I had written last week...

1. Finish blocks #8 & #9 and make block #10 for the Modern City Scape - finished and Row 1 & 2 are even sewn together

2. Catch up on the 3 Birthday blocks I haven't yet done - - finished and it wasn't 3 but 5 actually!
3. Sew the next Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along blocks for February & March - no progress

4. Complete 2 Hexie blocks- no progress

5. Complete Dear Jane block E13 and finish row E - still in progress

This week I have managed 4 days of sewing keeping up with my goal for 15 minutes to stitch with Kate

Time to plan for the week ahead...

1. Make block #11 for the Modern City Scape 

2. Make Birthday block #13 

3. Sew the Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along blocks for February & March 

4. Complete 2 Hexie blocks

5. Complete Dear Jane block E13 and finish row E

It is snowing...

Well not really where I am. It is pouring down with rain and it is very windy too. But it has been snowing in my sewing room! If you have arrived from the Holiday Lane Pillow  blog hop , welcome! Today is day my stop on the hop. I first saw Jill's design last year and saved it on my computer to make it one day! September in the Hexagon!

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. That was until I remembered a long forgotten UFO that was laying in a plastic bag in my cupboard. I thought it would be the perfect occasion to get the dist and cobwebs out (no it wasn't that bad really) and give it a new lease of life! It all started with a few scrap strips and ended with a few more strips! I ordered and received a scrap bag of Moda fabric a few years back and I received a pack of off-cuts of Migration by Holly Taylor.
