A few blocks

I seem to have swapped the heavy block making for the quilts/bag making days at the moment, my block production has fallen a lot, so much that I have been behind in a few bees for a little while and that I have completely stalled in the quilt-along, sew-along. I am sure I will eventually get back to them! (well at least I hope so, I surely don't need any more UFOs...)

Anyway, this month, I made a Bubble for Alicia

2 Diamonds for Betti - which have caused me lots of trouble....

An Abacus block for Chris

and a Quatre-foil block for Sarah - not my usual palette I must admit but I love her choice, very Mediterraneen
That makes 5 blocks (only) for the 350-blocks challenge and I doubt I will complete many more this month...

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
