A finished quilt!

The plan for my Flabellum quilt was to finish it in time for our house move last summer and it so nearly worked according to the plan! The top was finished at the end of May last year.

I sent it to get quilted (my first professionally quilted top) and got it back in July just before we packed up to leave.

I even cut the binding but ran out of time to attach it to the quilt top... so it sat there all this time, quilt nearly finished with a long step of binding ready to be added. And finally I picked it up earlier this month to sew the binding on the machine.

A couple of evenings of hand sewing to finally finally have a lovely finished quilt, made in the colour of our new lounge, just before we decide to repaint it 😁

My finish for September that I can now link to One monthly goal.
