December goals

 Hopefully this month should be a little quieter than the previous ones, I am even hoping for some real sewing time.... not just 5 minutes one evening! Who knows, it might finally happen. Let's make a list to keep focused, or not!

Quilting


1. Super Mario quilt - needs binding finished off (not even the full binding! And gazillions of threads buried) Will it finally be finished this year?
2. Farmer's Wife quilt - about 30 blocks needed still, it would have been so nice to gift it to my mum for Christmas - unrealistic now...
3. Storm at Sea - a small one to quilt but hopefully it will be done before the end of the year. 
4. Dear Jane
5. Impromptu quilt - needs quilting. It is a very big quilt so I went to get it professionally quilted. Maybe it will get sent this month... or maybe not still

Dressmaking

1. Forester coat -  One monthly goal
2. PJ for A
3. PJ for C
4. Jeans - cut 1 or 2 years ago...
5. Pillow cases

Bags

1. Moonwake bag
2. Open Wide Pouch
3. Wallet for A
4. Shamballa bag
5. Pillow card holders

Cross-stitch

1. Grimm's Tales stitch along - not sure I will work on this one again this year, I'll switch back to the Notcracker Parade until Christmas (if I manage to find it)
2. The Nutcracker Parade - time to pick up this one again before Christmas!

It is snowing...

Well not really where I am. It is pouring down with rain and it is very windy too. But it has been snowing in my sewing room! If you have arrived from the Holiday Lane Pillow  blog hop , welcome! Today is day my stop on the hop. I first saw Jill's design last year and saved it on my computer to make it one day! September in the Hexagon!

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. That was until I remembered a long forgotten UFO that was laying in a plastic bag in my cupboard. I thought it would be the perfect occasion to get the dist and cobwebs out (no it wasn't that bad really) and give it a new lease of life! It all started with a few scrap strips and ended with a few more strips! I ordered and received a scrap bag of Moda fabric a few years back and I received a pack of off-cuts of Migration by Holly Taylor.
