It's me again. I've just been having a browse round your blog and enjoying myself. Since you mentioned going to Cambridge in one post, I wonder if you live anywhere I might know? We lived in a village near Royston, then in Letchworth Garden City for many years, and my daughter was born at Addenbrookes in Cambridge.
I loved your applique block where you were asking for suggestions about the bias. My immediate idea was that gold would look lovely with it.
