Blocks galore

The week-end has been very hot here and busy as well as we have family staying with us. So I have spent a considerable amount of time cooking for everyone. And Saturday afternoon while the kids were playing in the garden splashing everyone around the paddling pool, I escaped to my sewing room for some calm and a rest! I must say I have been quite productive!
First I finished all my 3x6 Mini Sampler Quilt blocks.

I showed you last week the first 3 I made (including mine), well I made 4 more in different colour ways. One for Jo in red and aqua
One for Francine in purple and green
One for Karin in pink and green
One for Joanne in aqua, sage and olive

I finished my granny square blocks for Patti in turquoise/green/yellow and grey for the Granny Squares Bee

And I also finished my Confetti block for Svea for her Siblings Together Quilt. This block is quite big, finishing larger than 18' square. Svea has written the instructions for us to make the block and it is a perfect scraps buster as you can use any size of scraps to make the block. I think her quilt will be very interesting to look at once finished.
And finally I made a block with a + for Kate for Bee White Black. Another very large block as Kate wanted a 20' square. I made my + with 4.5' squares. Kate asked for a + in her block but let us free reign from there so I wonder what the others will have made, can't wait to see her quilt as well!
Well that's quite a few bee blocks done for this week-end! All the envelopes are ready to go tomorrow, that should help Royal Mail!
Now I need to start working on the teachers' gifts because the school year is finally coming to its end. I am planning one cushion and a few notebook holder, all inspired by the Pretty in Patchwork Holidays book.
