blocks, blocks, blocks

So it has been over a week since I last posted anything, but such a busy week. We came back from a great week of holidays in Vendee where the sun was shining and we had a lot of fun with the kids, chilling out by the seaside. While we were away I finished my hexie block for Ana for Get Your Hex on! with her lovely batik flower. I love having a portable project for when we are travelling as we usually spend hours in the car!

On our return after a lovely week-end in Normandy with friends on the way back, DH went away to New York for a week, but thankfully Mum came over to help me with the kids. I was glad to have her as all 3 caught a bug and took it in turn to be ill and have temperature :-( They are all recovered now but that wasn't fun! I managed a few blocks in the evenings though and made a couple of Churn Dash blocks. One for Cara for Bee Europa

and 2 for Annabella for Sew Euro Bee an

And I also finished my pinwheel in the park block using this tutorial for Pam for Bee White Black. This was the July block that I had trouble to finish and left aside...

The August block for Lisa is a Ring Toss block using this tutorial

And finally last week, I did put the last stitches on my EPP block for Marg which has been a long time in the making!
