Best of 2024

 Time to reflect, time to look back before looking ahead. The year has been busy overall but very unbalanced with regards to my sewing time. Some months have definitely been better than others.

One "almost finished" I am really happy with is my Modern City Scape quilt top. The quilt along started in January with one new block a week. I kept up with the schedule for a while but then fell off the wagon when I didn't sew for a long while. I was determined I would finish the top this year and not push it to my UFO list...

Now it is not yet quilted (and I have no idea how I will quilt it or when) but I am very happy it is pieced completely.

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. It is snowing...

Well not really where I am. It is pouring down with rain and it is very windy too. But it has been snowing in my sewing room! If you have arrived from the Holiday Lane Pillow  blog hop , welcome! Today is day my stop on the hop. I first saw Jill's design last year and saved it on my computer to make it one day!
