Bee blocks catch up

WIth the summer and being away for holidays and then work, I have fallen behind with my bee blocks in the last few months. So I am steadily working through my list trying to catch up!

I finished a bubble for Michaela

and a star block for Britta

a Tic Tac Toe for Francis
2 sea waves blocks for Anna
and finally a long belated feather for Svea, which was the last block for Fat Stash Bee
And I am now up to date with all the "machine sewn" bee blocks, which feels good.
And I also managed to make 3 Mummy Elephants and 1 Baby Elephants for my Elephant Parade UFO! -  all from my stash


A good start for the month with 10 blocks for the 350-blocks project so far.

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
