Q3 FAL in review

The Finish-Along is paused for the moment but if it was still running, it would be time to post Q3 makes. So I thought I would reflect on what I have finished from my long list in the last quarter, which has been such a roller-coaster, what with the self-isolation "holidays", finishing my job, starting a new home etc. I am happy that I am crossing a few of these projects off the list (don't worry though, I have plenty to add for next quarter!!)


Quilts:
1. Modern HST triangles - 1 block missing to have enough for a quilt top but very little background fabric - no progress 
2. Project 48 quilt with a few Solstice challenge blocks (all blocks done, might need a few more???) -  no progress 
3. Farmer's Wife (not half way yet....)  -  no progress 
4. Farmer's Wife 1930 - only 24 blocks done - no progress 
5. Gipsy Wife - no progress 
6. Enchanted Stars - no progress 
7. Underground railway - most blocks available from years ago - no progress

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
