November goals

It felt so good to finish 2 quilts last month and the quilting frame is still out so I would anticipate finishing at least one more this month.... watch this space...

 Hoping for finish
1. Lander trousers (green) - Let's just add the waistband and loops and hem it to enjoy this new pair of trousers!
2. Dance bag for A - I have gone as far as cutting the fabric, will it be finished before Christmas?
3. Dance bag for C - not started but it would be good to finish it at the same time as the other one more or less....
4. Long Time Gone - I am hoping to load this one on the frame soon....  this will be my One Monthly Goal -
5. White and red disappearing 9-patch (blocks from the Block Lotto March 2011)- maybe that could become a gift...

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. I love fabric and my stash is probably too big for my needs, but can a girl really have TOO MUCH fabric? I don't think so! Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
