April goals

 I am starting to wonder whether it makes sense to even make a list... I have managed so little sewing in the last 4-6 weeks that it almost feels useless... Who knows, maybe I will finally get a bounce of energy to help pick up a project (or two) and get going... 

Quilting:

1. Super Mario quilt - need quilting!
2. Halo quilt sew along - I need to cut the arcs to be able to continue
3. Boho Heart quilt-along - I am so behind on this one...
4. Snowflake quilt-along - needs quilting
5. Modern HST triangles -  I have 23 blocks completed and not enough background fabric to make the 24th block from the pattern. Decide what to do with this 5 year old UFO.
6. 365 challenge - No progress at all in March...
7. Fandom in Stitches quilt along - I now have 5 blocks, I need more and there were a few from March that I'd like to make.
8. Sewing Studio banner - need quilting, this will be my One monthly goal

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. I love fabric and my stash is probably too big for my needs, but can a girl really have TOO MUCH fabric? I don't think so! Michele at the Quilting Gallery is organising a blog hop for the 4th anniversary of her site . Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
