EPP UFO

 A long long long forgotten project that I have unearthed recently, kind of randomly... I started the Mischief project when I received the kit from Karen in 2017 but it hardly progressed despite being ready to be picked up any time and on the go. It has been so long ago since I did anything with it that it had dropped all my UFO list a while ago. 

I found some pieces ready to be assembled into blocks

And also some pieces assembled

I picked up all the blue that I found already prepared to progress on this blocks, sometimes with mixed sucess....  

But went on to be better after this little hiccup.

 
And I now have 4 completed blocks


I'm hoping that I'll be able to cut fabric pieces on my cricut so that this dormant project can finally move on...

    C'est toujours excitant de redécouvrir un projet oublié, et de se le réapproprier, peut-être différemment de la première fois. J'aime beaucoup ces étoiles bleues. Un projet qui avance bien !

It is snowing...

Well not really where I am. It is pouring down with rain and it is very windy too. But it has been snowing in my sewing room! If you have arrived from the Holiday Lane Pillow  blog hop , welcome! September in the Hexagon!

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. That was until I remembered a long forgotten UFO that was laying in a plastic bag in my cupboard. I thought it would be the perfect occasion to get the dist and cobwebs out (no it wasn't that bad really) and give it a new lease of life! It all started with a few scrap strips and ended with a few more strips!
