November furtle

A busy month, a difficult month, a month with difficult memories but also a few happier moments. Lots to progress this month still for all of us and not necessarily enough energy or time to sew as much as I had planned/ wished.

A few makes this month that I'm happy to have finished!
2 pairs of PJ, one for each girl even if the elephant one is in the recycling bag as the fabric was damaged after all...
A collection of pillow card holder, even though I forgot to take a picture, with more in the making at the moment. 


And the biggest one, my Impromptu is fully finished now. I'm so happy I can cross this one off my list!

It is snowing...

Well not really where I am. It is pouring down with rain and it is very windy too. But it has been snowing in my sewing room! If you have arrived from the Holiday Lane Pillow  blog hop , welcome! Today is day my stop on the hop. I first saw Jill's design last year and saved it on my computer to make it one day! Dare to Dresden - Day 5

Welcome to England and thanks for stopping by! Make yourself comfortable while I share with you my Dresden adaptation. But before I share with you what I have made for the blog hop, I have a little confession to make. I signed up for the blog hop early in January (while still away on holidays actually and dutifully added the button to the side of my blog). Christine of Quilt Monster in my Closet  sent us an email with the plan for the hop and guided us through it around mid-January and then on Monday, she sent us this nice little reminder about our forthcoming spot on the hop. This is when I went into panic mode.
