To Do Tuesday

 I am happy to say that I finally took some very little time to sew in the past week, at long last! Let's have a look at the list and draw a new one for this week, in case there was again some free time, one can dream :-)

Here was my plan from last week

1.  Work on Modern City Scape block #24 & #25 - finished both and the quilt top too 

2. Finish my Silvia coatigan - no progress

3. Start the mini alphabet blocks - no progress

4. Continue the fussy cut thimble blocks - no progress

5. Make a new bag - not started

and now my plan for next week

1. Find some fabric to make some PJs for the girls

2. Make one alphabet block (C)

3. Finish the thimbles I had already started

4. Work on the hood of my Silvia coatigan

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan. Blog hop and a giveaway
