Well, the challenge is over, the 100 days have passed a few days ago! Time to check the focus of the last 100 days So back in January I selected 3 projects I really want to focus on and make progress on. Of course, since then lots has happened.... including new projects that I just couldn't resist! I also managed to finish some quilts and make myself some clothes. And it's been a busy time at work and with the family too! Time to look at the 3 projects now... 1. Hello Kitty quilt for my niece - squares all cut -  no progress at all on this one during the 100 days of the challenge 2. Farmer's Wife blocks - I had 30 blocks at the beginning of the challenge and I am now at 48! Still a long way to go with 111 blocks in total... 3. Project 48 -   I didn't make all the blocks from this quilt-along but I made all the blocks I wanted to make. So one with no progress, one with just over half of the progress I was planning/hoping for and one complet...

Well, the challenge started already 2 months ago (where does the time disappear?) and looking back, it seems that I have massively lost focus in February.... But then there has been the multiple birthday parties and a week away as well! 1. Hello Kitty quilt for my niece - squares all cut -  no pogress at all on this one... 2. Farmer's Wife blocks - no progress at all this month so I still need 15 blocks to meet the challenge... 3. Project 48 -   only 1 block this month, taking my total to 23 out of 48.... not even half way yet  It is really time to turn my attention back to these projects or I won't meet any of my 3 challenges.... 40 days left, let's see if I can make progress on these or if I continue to digress. So there hasn't been much time at the sewing machine or for hand sewing this month but I made a few random blocks this month One for Project 48 Quilt that I could sew on the go 2 flowers for the Inchy Hexie Swap 3 Blocks for the Block Lotto and 8 Bow Tie blocks to get a head start on the Long Time Gone QAL 14 more blocks to take my total to 15 this month. In the evenings, sewing time is limited so I find it easier to make one block or two, if I am lucky! I seem to have had a good run in the last week or so. Project 48 - block 41 One last "bonus" bee block for our Mama Bee Jan Quite a few more blocks for my Farmer's Wife quilt - I am on a roll with this one but then I have lots of blocks to do so I need to stay focused on it! 3 - [Basket] 5 - [Bat Wing] 8 - [Bouquet] 13 - [Buckwheat]  14 - [Butterfly at the Crossroads] 15 - [Buzzard's Roost] 25 - [Cups and Saucer] 26 - [Cut Glass Dish] 34 - [Flock] 35 - [Flower Basket] 51 - [Hovering Birds] 54 - [Kitchen Woodbox] 55 - [Linoleum] One Dear Jane block too after so many years!  E-10 - Five and Dime - let's hope it won't be the only one this year.... And also the last block for my Wanta Fanta quilt, since I am getting gifted a block too. An additional 17 blocks this week to take ...

I like this little challenge from Jen of picking up 3 projects to work on for 100 days So let's focus on 3 projects until mid April, now to select only 3! 1. Hello Kitty quilt for my niece - squares all cut 2. Farmer's Wife blocks - 30 done so far it would nice to make at least 30 more... 3.
