July goals

 Let's face it, this month will be very very busy and I will have little time to sew. I need to finish the end of year presents for sure but I am not sure I will do much more with the big move to get ready for. Wish me luck!

Quilting:

1. Impromptu quilt - I would really like to finish this top and send it for quilting shortly but this will be very difficult

2. Snowflake quilt-along - needs binding

3. Flabellum quilt - I have sent it away for quilting so maybe I can add the binding when it is back?


4. If I find more UFOs I will need to decide whether I want to keep them or not


Dressmaking

1. PJ/nightdress for C - NEW
2. Utility coat - need finishing


Accessories 

1. Bag for teachers/ end of year
2. Pouches or wallets for teachers
3. Persephone wallet - started - this will be my One monthly goal


Cross-stitch
1. Grimm's Tales stitch along
2. Nutcracker

It is snowing...

Well not really where I am. It is pouring down with rain and it is very windy too. But it has been snowing in my sewing room! If you have arrived from the Holiday Lane Pillow  blog hop , welcome! Today is day my stop on the hop. I first saw Jill's design last year and saved it on my computer to make it one day! September in the Hexagon!

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. That was until I remembered a long forgotten UFO that was laying in a plastic bag in my cupboard. I thought it would be the perfect occasion to get the dist and cobwebs out (no it wasn't that bad really) and give it a new lease of life! It all started with a few scrap strips and ended with a few more strips! I ordered and received a scrap bag of Moda fabric a few years back and I received a pack of off-cuts of Migration by Holly Taylor.
