More blocks

 I have finally made my blocks for the Boho Heart Quilt Along. I haven't caught yet but at least I've made some progress! 

One more Dresden block from week 3, not cut to size yet but otherwise finished. The centre is hand appliqué. I only need one more Dresden block to finish week 3...

From week 5, the Courthouse serie: 2 mini, 3 medium and 2 larger framed squares,  1 spool and 1 courthouse block. I need 6 more blocks to finish this series


And one little heart appliqué block finished for weeks 6 & 7. I have a few more in the works but not yet finished. All hand appliqué. 


With that, I have 10 more blocks this month.

    Tous tes blocs sont beaux, j'aime beaucoup les couleurs douces de la Dresden. La Courthouse série est chouette aussi, sympas ces petits poissons !

    Your Dresden is so pretty, it looks very vintage which I love. And the background fabric for the heart, I would have to add several yards or a bolt of that. Thank you for linking up to Put your foot down.

It is snowing...

Well not really where I am. It is pouring down with rain and it is very windy too. But it has been snowing in my sewing room! If you have arrived from the Holiday Lane Pillow  blog hop , welcome! Today is day my stop on the hop. I first saw Jill's design last year and saved it on my computer to make it one day! September in the Hexagon!

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. That was until I remembered a long forgotten UFO that was laying in a plastic bag in my cupboard. I thought it would be the perfect occasion to get the dist and cobwebs out (no it wasn't that bad really) and give it a new lease of life! It all started with a few scrap strips and ended with a few more strips! I ordered and received a scrap bag of Moda fabric a few years back and I received a pack of off-cuts of Migration by Holly Taylor.
