To Do Tuesday

 The last week has been a real rollercoaster for our family, which partly explained why I am so late posting for this week and also why I hardly achieved anything from my last list... Motivation has been pretty low and time has run away from me. At least I have forced myself to exercice more again to help empty my head... 

Let's look at the list I had written last week...

1. Make block #5 for the Modern City Scape - done and blogged. I even managed to fix 3 more mistakes in that first row...

2. Catch up on the next Birthday blocks - done

3. Sew the next Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along blocks - no progress

4. Finish C's bag - very little progress


This week I have managed only 2 days of sewing related activities, keeping up with my goal for 15 minutes to stitch with Kate.

Time to plan for the week ahead

1. Make block 6 for the Modern City Scape 

2. Sew the next Birthday Block 

3. Sew the next Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along blocks

4. Finish C's bag

5. Make a bag for A

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
