May in review

Where is the month gone? I am not sure really! I made a few things but not that many really! I got to yesterday with 20 blocks and 10 more to go to meet the 350-blocks challenge. So I was busy last night finishing my diagonal bars blocks and starting my Cat family which was also my NewFO challenge. Nothing better than a deadline really!

1. Make my Siblings Together 2  May blocks - started
2. Block for the Lotto - 2 blocks
3. Mod Mod Along blocks: Beads on a string x 10, Star Cross x 3 and Diagonal Bars x 12 - 1 Diagonal Bar finished
4. Finish off my blocks for the You've got Mail wall hanging - need 4 more envelopes - no progress
5. Finish my cat quilt -  on  the frame, ready for quilting - I will pick this one as my A lovely Year of Finishes challenge for May - So glad it is finished and in use!
6. Finish Maud's bag and my work bag -no progress

10. Finish central medaillon of my Midnight in the Oasis and make more border blocks - no progress
11. I love Lucy international block (May)  - started
12. Stash Bee block (May) - no progress
13. Little Blog Bee block (May) - done

14. Bee Europa blocks (May) - not done
15. Start another Triangle quilt like the Triangle Quilt Along - not started
16. Start this Cat Quilt - my NewFO challenge for May - started - 7 cats in the family so far - this was also my NewFO project for May.

17. Finish my September in the Hexagon quilt - Lazy Bums challenge - no progress
18. Start working on my Grand-Mum's birthday present with floral blocks - no progress
19. Continue working on my Once Upon a Time Sampler - steady progress
I guess I finished my last few blocks past midnight last night but I will still count them for my May challenge, giving me exactly 30 blocks this month.

There will be lots of carry over in my list for June because I am behind with most of my bee blocks although I don't expect much progress this week as I am preparing for my son First Holy Communion on Sunday.
