Another finished quilt

This time it is M's quilt that is finished.

The binding is on, the threads are burried (the least favorite step for me) and the quilt is signed! He will even sleep under his new quilt tonight! and he is happy about that too.

I have even washed this one straight after it was finished.

Fabric:Lots of fabric from various stashes. 

Backing: various fabric from my stash
Binding: Blue fabric from my stash!

Size: 72'  x 84'

    Love the fabric choices and the design sampling of blocks is very pleasing to the eye. Very nice job.

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
