A new project, yes another one!

I really like the look of the Summer Solstice Quilt Along from Melissa that I have decided to join and sew my stash (great idea, no?)

I' m only planning to make one block (they are big blocks!) that I will turn in a cushion cover to use in the summer.
And look, I have even stepped out of my comfort zone by selecting summery colours that I rarely work with!
This week assignment was to cut the fabric, and I am pleased to say it is all done, ready for some sewing. And it's not too late to join if you would like to play along, just check Melissa's blog!

  1. Your fabrics are gorgeous! I too couldn't resist this project and am making the big one-block quilt. It will be lovely!

  2. Love the happy summer colors ;) This will be such a pretty cushion ;) Way to get the cutting done ;)
