A new project, yes another one!

I really like the look of the Summer Solstice Quilt Along from Melissa that I have decided to join and sew my stash (great idea, no?)

I' m only planning to make one block (they are big blocks!) that I will turn in a cushion cover to use in the summer.
And look, I have even stepped out of my comfort zone by selecting summery colours that I rarely work with!
This week assignment was to cut the fabric, and I am pleased to say it is all done, ready for some sewing. And it's not too late to join if you would like to play along, just check Melissa's blog!
