February goals

 February is a short month and we have birthdays in the house so it would be prudent not to plan too much! Or maybe to have a varied list to see what takes my fancy?

Quilting:

1. Super Mario quilt - I think I still need 2 more blocks
2. Halo quilt sew along - I need to cut the arcs to be able to continue
3. Boho Heart quilt-along - a brand new one quilt-along starting today! 
4. Snowflake quilt-along - needs quilting
5. Modern HST triangles -  I have 23 blocks completed and not enough background fabric to make the 24th block from the pattern. Decide what to do with this 5 year old UFO.
6. 365 challenge
7. Fandom in Stitches quilt along

Dressmaking

1. PJ for C - NEW
2. PJ for M - NEW
3. Morgan Jeans - cut
4. Blouse - NEW
5. Knickers
6. Dressing gown - Lahja- cut - This will be my One monthly goal

    so many lovely projects to work on - I saw that Boho Heart QAL and quickly closed my eyes and crossed the street - haha !! it is so gorgeous though :)

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. I love fabric and my stash is probably too big for my needs, but can a girl really have TOO MUCH fabric? I don't think so! Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
