2013 Finished projects
2013 is over, welcome 2014! Time for a little review of the past year. I have listed 28 OPAMs in my side-bar, some of which I don't have a picture of but I have created this little collage of most of my finished projects that you have seen on my blog throughout the year: 2 full size quilts (UFOs), 2 table runner, 1 Advent Calendar, 2 tote bags, 4 notebook covers, 2 cushions, 1 photo album cover, 1 pouch, 2 baskets, 1 sewing kit, 1 set of coasters and 2 Christmas ornaments.
I also started a couple of quilts which are not finished yet, a few WIP that might turn into UFOs if I am not careful enough!
I restarted my Farmer's Wife quilt with only 3 blocks. I am planning to focus on this quilt this year. I will try an make blocks during our first Lazy Bums virtual retreat later this month.
And of course, lots of bee blocks (I have compted 203 across about 11 bees and swaps)! I haven't signed up for as many bees this year and this is probably better because I did get behind on some of my blocks and had to play catch up over several months. I will still play along with some because I really like the variety of blocks/techniques/fabrics you get to play with and the friendship you make when you meet other talented quilters from all over the globe.
Best wishes for the New Year, I hope you come back often!
