Some blocks

Finally a few blocks... I have such a long to-do list that I didn't know where to start so I picked some blocks, urgent and less urgent!
I started playing with the double 9-patch blocks for the Block Lotto. I really like how these blocks turned out in black and white
I also made 2 wonky (although not that much wonky as I find wonky quite  difficult) log cabin blocks for Kate for Bee Europa.

And finally I also made a Snowdrop block for the Snowdrop Festival, using Yvonne's free paper piecing pattern
And these are 12 blocks for the 350-blocks challenge taking my total to 15.

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
