WIP - Bee blocks

Again this week, I have managed to finish a few of my WIP from last week. My Happy Cloud and my Modern Mini RR are all finished now. My Halloween Witch is brightening the living room.


This week I am trying to work on Bee and swap blocks.
Lush asked for a scrappy block for Sew-Euro-Bee-an for October. My colour was green. I have pieced my strips and I now need to slash through them and assemble them with a plain triangle. More soon....

Mary's block for EEEEP EPP Bee are still on-going and I am hoping to get them done very soon....
I am also trying to finish my hexie flowers for October

My Bee Weave it or not blocks are still not finished either...
Amelie asked for a sailing boat for Modern Minx Bee and I haven't even started this one....

And of course I need to finish off my purse for the UR Priceless blog hop starting on Monday. I will be on the hop next Wednesday (7)
Lots of in-progress this week that I am hoping to clear off my desk very soon....

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! I am a hexie lover and always have an emergency supply of hexies in my bag for when I am on-the-go (which is actually very often) and when I first signed up for the blog hop, I thought I would show you a EPP (English Paper Piecing) hexie project. Blog hop and a giveaway

I have written a blog for over 2 years now but started quilting about 10 years ago, mainly self-taught. Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
