And 2 more bags

After the success of the drawstring bag I made last week, and after Miss C asked for one for her as well, I cut another not one but 2 bags. I thought it would be a good addition to my Happy Unicorn Swap package. And if it is a little bit too cute/childish for my partner, then hopefully she will find a little girl in her life to enjoy it!

I added a green accent fabric this time which I think works really well too!

And for miss C I used a lovely Strawberry Shortcake hexagon prints, that I bought with no real intention... ;-)

And the original bag from last week got it first outing today when we went to dance class!
2 more OPAMs for me this month!

Welcome to my stop on the Hexie Blog Hop Be a Hexie Queen ! Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along

  Yes I know, another new project... but (!) this one is all about using my scraps, what's not to love. And the instructions come in German for the  Ravenbrook Scrap Quilt Along .  The first 3 blocks are made of rectangles and I used only scraps to make those (I can't really say I have made a dent in my scrap basket either actually...) I picked green as the focus colour for the blocks since this is the January colour for the Rainbow Scraps Challenge organised by Angela I joined the challenge years ago but hadn't participated in recent times. Of course it would be tempting to start yet another project but I think using my scraps for this quilt along in the set colour of the month is a safer plan.
